J's parting words for me as he got out of the car to go to school this morning:
"Mom, I really am going to go to outer space."
"Really?"
"But, mom, I promise you, I won't go to Pluto, OR Venus. Pluto's too hot."
Oh, good. I'd hate it if you went there. Just stick with somewhere normal. Like Saturn.
(IS Pluto hot? It's been too long since elementary school....)

Not to worry, Pluto isn't hot. It's the last heavenly body to orbit our solar system. In fact it's not even a planet anymore. It's recently been re-classified as a dwarf planet. Serioiusly do these scientists have anything better to do?
